Dr. Rodica Mihaila, founder of the American Studies Department at the University of Bucharest, is currently a professor of American Literature and Civilization at the University and has authored countless articles and books on topics ranging from American Poetry to Post-Cold War Cultural Relations. Rodica is also the Founding President of the Romanian Association for American Studies and has served as visiting professor at several universities in the United States.
